That's good to know about the shift selector as well. I see what you are saying I was a little vague in my first post. It is possible that the mechanic left something disconnected. He had done a lot of re-wiring over the winter when the transmission would not engage at all. A rodent had chewed through a bunch of wiring. He had doubled check that everything was connected but did not notice any wiring issues
