I tried to put air pressure on the tank and still nothing came out, so I disconnected the fuel line from the tank to the primer pump and a bunch of goo came out, which eventually ran out and started flowing diesel, so I hooked it straight to the filter circumventing the primer pump and filled up the filter to overflowing out the exit line, then it fired up! Then I reconnected the primer circuit and it runs now, thanks for the tips that got me headed the right direction!
