Heres a 10B on its way home
Have you done anything with the 10B? I am hoping to pick up a 15B pull shovel on the weekend. I didn't want to see it going to the scrappers.:thumbsup
I havnt done anything to it yet,it was good just to save it from the scrappers.ive picked up another one since as well a 22B.Gives me the full set from 10 thru to 25 now.Good luck with your 15B.At least the low scrap prices are giving the few machines that are left a reprieve.
"Home" ?? Is it not a "Bucyrus Erie" ?
Yep. They are Bucyrus Erie machines. We had to work part of sat. and sun. so we couldn't get down with the big float to bring it home. Maybe if it's not raining on sat. will give it a whirl.:thumbsup

"Valley tire" and "Nu-Way auto parts" used to be the test area, final assembly was to the east, Wechsler avenue was left as brick street, 'cause B-E would drive them down the ramp, turn right on Wechsler, then west to the test pile. Used to see 10 units on each side of the pile, all being test run.
