I have a 120-2 we were loading stumps and all at once when i went to quit swinging i lost my swing brake and swing would barley move , found it had stripped the splines on the swing pump , rebuilt all of that and have no swing and no brake when machine is running, even when safety lever is up still no brake aswell
First thing I would do is get some pressure readings from the top of the swing motor... or at least have someone listen/feel the motor... cause it sounds like you have more than one problem... I would chance a guess at swing gearbox or the input shaft to it...
She will swing in a circle fine by hand no tight spots , the swing brake engages when you cut the machine off, but the minute you start it it releases and no swing , u can hear the hydraulics load when you swing the lever left or right but wont move ,
You sure the lines are in the right spots.... after the pump r&r....
Everything was color coded su there's no way it could of got mixed up
you can spin the machine by hand with the engine on and with no swing operation? Swing brake is only supposed to release when swing is operated. Sounds like there is still issues in the motor.
