everything looks simple enough except the tensioner roller, will it lift out of the way, does it just lever or is there a trick to it? TIA
The tensioner can be lifted up by using a 3/8 or 1/2 drive ratchet. On the idler arm just before the idler pulley there is a spot to use a 3/8 or 1/2 drive ratchet. The reason I say 3/8 or 1/2 is it will depend how new the tensioner is.
Don't forget to disconnect the negative battery cable before you disconnect the alternator.
