Anyone know where i can get a new jaw plate for a 1943 Cedar Rapids Jaw Crusher? Man, I'll work on anything as long as it pays $$$ LOL!
Call here,, and ask for Eddie http://www.genequip.com/
Thanks but im gonna try and find one alittle closer to home. I bet shipping would cost a fortune since it weighs like 500lbs!
plan B,,, it probably will make no difference where you buy it from,,, there is only a couple foundry's that make them anyway and the dealer's have them drop shipped direct.... but just trying to help.. Gramps.
If it's 500 lbs it's gonna come motor freight no matter who you get it from. Call the vendor, even the one gramps suggested, get a quote on the jawplate and a freight quote. You got nothing to lose doing that.
ok ill call em, cause the place in tx didnt have one!
They told me to call a Cedar Rapids dealer and we did and parts are on the way!
Frankly im quite surprised you found them that easy. Sometimes they want you to order six month's in advance to make sure they have them in stock when you need them... but then thats a salesman talking too.... Glad to hear your gonna get that girl crushing again. Ive always enjoyed the pucka pucka pucka of a little jaw making a living..... Gramps
Thanks maria but we already got the parts and i installed them. You can see a picture of the machine on my website i ya like. MOD EDIT - Who Plan B is referring to as Maria, was a spammer that had to be sent very far away to a place fitting for spammers.:avid It was easier to remove the whole post then try to edit it. Sorry for any confusion, carry on gentlemen.
