I would like to change the front split rims on my C50 to a conventional style rim. Is there a direct fit rim?

What tire size? My 10.00x20 tires, on split rims, on my '70 Brockway were replaced with 11r22.5 on Dayton wheels. Direct bolt on.

Are these a rim with 6 conventional lug nuts that go through the brake drum? or a dayton spoke style hub like Heymccall is talking about. I don't know how to replace the lug nut style, but at least you'll start in the right place. The daytons are easy, like Heymccall said.

The C-50 more than likely had the Chevy pattern rims with 10 holes running 5 studs on the front and 10 on the rear. The older ones were 20" and true split rims that split in the center of the rim. (Goodyear?) Most were equipped with 8.25"x20" tires. My motorhome has the same bolt pattern but has 19.5" tires. Some of the later Chevy's had a 20" rim with a side lock ring... a bit more reliable than the old ones. Not sure if 22.5's were ever offered on them.
