i have a fiat allis 745 (just purchased) after changing all the fluids it will not move forward or backwards. the bucket will go up and down it will turn from side to side but will not move forward or reverse. Any suggestions?
There are a few things you can do and some may sound silly, but with a new (to you) machine, you never know. Check fluid level and make sure you have the recommended fluid Check the linkage. Have someone shift the lever while you watch for movement on the trans. Check your axles. Check the drivelines. Get the specs and find the pressure fitting for troubleshoot. you will need a gauge and hose. These are starters that will eliminate a number of things. Good luck.
