Frequently the boom and bucket will not move even if the system is in float. Turning the engine off and then just turning the key on, not starting the motor, the boom will drop when in float. Starting the engine the system works as it should until it happens again. Anyone have ideas why this is happening?
I would check the solenoid valve to the left of the pedals near the floor. The wires have come loose on mine causing the hydraulics to shut off until they were moved. If the wires are connected correctly, check the voltage to that solenoid when the boom will not move. If you don't have voltage there you have an issue somewhere else in the wiring (seat belt switch or seat switch itself) if you put it in service mode does the boom work then? Hope this helps.
