Hi perhaps someone could give me advice my backhoe swing tower stops before reaching side of machine I have tried adjusting the bolt by the cam follower but can't get it to work
Does it stop, or just finish its swing very slow? The earlier K series has a swing sequence valve to prevent swing from being so fast it slams the boom into the tractor. Mine have needed rebuild. Not complicated, do it yourself. You will need a manual. Mostly rusty or broken springs, crusty rust inside the workings.
does the cam follower follow the cam all the way? They periodically stick due to corrosion in the bushing, too.
