1995 deere 310d hydraulic question?

i just purchased a 310d and im looking for the hydraulic filter location? also i seen a screw on filter underneath the backhoe near the boom and right outrigger im not sure what that filter is for? any help is appreciated

    It should be underneath.Along and inside right side frame rail right forward of rear tire.Jd part number AT184206 but double check with your serial number

    thanks howey75 so thats the only hydraulic filter? im gonna change that. my extendahoe is extremely slow going out. it retracts fine.

    Are all the other hoe functions normal? if you only have one slow function, and especially one side of one function, then look at that valve section first. The extend will be slower than the retract because it's a big rod most likely. Possibly a leaking relief valve on the extend side. Or if the extend pushes the spool down in the valve body, check the cap on the bottom of that section for oil leakage, or take it off to check for a loose bolt, broken spring etc.

    Also trace the line feeding that function Any steel portion that might be pinched.
