how much fuel pressure is supposed to be held on the 97 link belt 2800 excavator? we are having an issue with the machine bogging down when you try to put a strain on it. help would be appreciated thanks
LB's are famous for this.Drain the fuel/water below the fuel tank itself, check for flow (remove rubber fuel line and visually check).Sometimes a flake of rust works up into the 'banjo' head fittings on the filters and restricts them.Theres a nylon 'rock catcher' filter in the banjo head fitting that goes into(below) the manual fuel primer pump that plugs up.If it has a small water separator filter near the boom with a clear bowl on it( (pull the fitting on the intake side of this and clean it as well),these filter/separators can draw air in,and are some people just bypass it.Change both primary and secondary spin on fuel filters as well.
