What engine is in this loader? i know its a 3 cylinder just need to know the model. Also is anyone is familiar with this engine i would like to pick your brain. thanks!
It should have a 3114T in it, but they are 4 cyl not 3.
Yes you are right i was told by the guy that it was a 3 cylinder...so he's looking to overhaul the engine due to blow by and hard start in the morning when its cold...are these engine difficult to overhaul? puling injectors easy? I've rebuilt many C15's, 3406, C13 and so on just never rebuilt anything in a machine like this...anyone know a site or anyone here have info on rebuilding this engine? Ive heard doing the valve adjustment is very difficult which i find hard to believe.
It's not that difficult if you know how and have the tools. The injector sleeves in the head need to be changed and there is a tool group for that. The injectors need to be synchronized and timed and there is another tool group for that. The rest of the work is what you are used to doing on other engines. Later Bob
