Just picked up a 1998 Ford Aeromax is the heater controls controled by vacuum? Cannot get it to change from defrost to floor. I cannot find the vacuum pump anywhere. Thanks
usually the heater door flap breaks and cannot change air flow, have saw alot break real pita
Pulled the dash apart, it is a vacuum system. the main feed is a red plastic line just sitting there. Have no clue to where it goes. there is also a green one right by it and that is disconnected also.
Are you sure it's vacuum, not compressed air? I know little about Ford heavies, but Mack, IH, and others usually use air if not cables.
