1999 d4c hydrostatic dozer won’t move

I have a 1999 caterpillar d4c hydrostatic dozer it ran fine when I parked it about a year ago. Would not start yesterday. I found a loose connection going to the starter it starts fine now. But won't move forward or reverse with the joystick. Does not make any kind of sound when you move the joystick. Checked the neutral park brake switch, and it's working right. What could be the problem? The blade moves fine.

Post a Serial Number please so we can start looking up information.

Pump drive coupling probably stripped out. But you need to verify with a serial to know what test port to check

Serial # is 8cs00813. The hyd on the blade is working good. If it was the coupling would the blade work?

No the implement pump is ran off the timing gears of the engine

That confuses a lot of people. As Tyler said above the implement pump is driven off the front of the engine, so it's quite possible for the blade to work normally but the machine doesn't drive. Do you have access to pressure gauges.? Maybe the easiest check is to get a guage on to either the front or rear hystat pump. If you get no pressure on both then the most likely cause is a failed coupling.
