got a 99 sterling jake doesn`t work , driver took dash apart worked on air leak, now no jake, trying to find out what plug to use for on-off switch , there`s 4 behind the dash, choice`s are # 3, 5, 6, 8, 15 ,got #3 pugged in to it now and #6 in the min-max switch, shouldn`t there be power to the switch ? the #15 and 8 have power, where is the clutch switch located ? thought i would look at that to, it has a clutch safety start switch up under the dash is this also used for jake has the Cat C-12 motor, thanks
Reading this as the compression brake worked until a driver worked inside the dash and now it don’t. Obviously, the driver knocked a connection loose. Just study the situation and look real close. You will probably find what was disconnected. The clutch switch is up high, above the clutch pedal arm. Can’t miss it . Good luck.
