i stupidly threw my greasgun in the battery compartment off my dx140lc and went to work about 5 mininutes in everything went out no power to cab or anywhere else, i think the greasegun made the connection from positive to negative and blown something, there is a 60 amp circuit breaker but it didnt pop, there are a couple solinoides there and 3 diodes near the battery connections , machine dont seem to have a main fuse other than the 60amp which didnt trip. no fuses blown in cab fuse box, any ideas what to check?
Hi Cryil, Three fuses in each fuse panel are supplied by a fusible link in the battery compartment, that can fail without tripping the circuit breaker. Unless it is a very early model it plugs in. The 2 relays are battery and pre-heat. If you have a serial number I can narrow it down farther. Hope this helps.
