have had a battery going bad for a while so went and bought a new one put it in the machine and now i got no crank. I have checked fuses and relays and all seem good and all other electrical seems to be working but just nothing going on at the starter but i have voltage there. Any one got any ideas about what to check to narrow this down?
i hooked a jump starter directly to the starter the way the manual shows and it very slowly cranked a couple of times and that's it any one got any ideas? i think its about got to be the starter at this point i have checked every thing else.
ended up pulling the starter out and it was completely full of corrosion the o ring had failed that seals the starter and it had got a ton of water in it and ruined it. Is there any after market companies that sell these starters that are any good? about 490 from bobcat seems pretty steep for suck a small starter
Google the oe number on the starter itself. Or post it here
i just bit the bullet and ordered a 500 dollar one from bobcat
