Hello all, have a 2016 cat d5k2 serial number CAT00D5KAKY200694. It is throwing a code E570(2). I can start it drive in reverse and it's fine, but I go to drive forward it wants to launch the right track forward a lot faster then the left and throws the code. Could it be a speed sensor, or something else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
E570 - Unexpected Right Motor Forward Speed Detected. This Event triggers when the RH drive motor speed in the forward direction (as indicated by the motor speed sensor) is not in agreement with the command from the Machine ECM and the current that is passing through the drive motor control solenoid. The fact that you say the right track wants to launch faster than the left when moving from a stopped condition would suggest not so much a problem with a speed sensor (because it only records how fast the shaft is turning) but with either the RH drive motor or the controls for it. Motor swash plate issues maybe.? It's probably going to need ET hooked up to compare the electrical/electronic inputs to both drive motors and the recorded motor speeds.
