CHRIS GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON AFTER OBTAINING A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING IN 1981 AND A MASTER OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN 1982. SINCE GRADUATION, CHRIS HAS WORKED FOR ERIKSSON ENGINEERING IN COLUMBUS, OHIO; THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION; THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION; TRUMBULL CORPORATION OF PITTSBURGH, PA; AND MS CONSULTANTS, INCORPORATED OF COLUMBUS, OH. ON JANUARY 1, 2007, CHRIS BEGAN HIS TENURE AS PRESIDENT OF THE OHIO CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION (OCA). The Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park is a 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of mining, construction, agriculture, transportation, logging, and oil & gas history and equipment. The organization currently owns 20 pieces of equipment related to these industries. Plans are constructing a museum building and a open air area featuring mining, construction, agriculture, transportation, logging, and oil & gas equipment. Plans are to partner with area high schools, vocational schools, colleges & universities for their mechanic, agriculture, energy operations, natural resource, machining, welding, heavy equipment and marketing programs. ------------------------------------------ Miner's Reunion May 7, 2022 Harrison County History Of Coal Museum 200 Market Street Cadiz, Ohio A miner's reunion will be held from noon-3pm on May 7, 2022 at the Harrison County History of Coal Museum to honor the men and women who work or have worked in the mining industry. The museum is located in the lower level of the Puskarich Public Library, located at 200 East Market Street Cadiz, Ohio. Come see mining displays, visit with miner guides, and more. If you work or have worked in the mining industry, for a company providing services to the mining industry, in the transportation industry that served the mines this reunion is for you. Families of the men and women who work or have worked in the mining industry are encouraged to attend. If you are attending the Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park Dinner-Auction this is a great opportunity to visit the Harrison County History of Coal Museum if you never visited the museum in the past.
