The hydraulic oil drain hose has developed a hole and leaking at a good rate. Will need to drain the tank in order to disconnect and replace that hose. I thought I knew how to undo but no matter what I do I can't remove the drain plug. Tried penetration oil, heat, weak muscles .... which one actually loosens up?
For that job, I would have a hose ready and hook up the small shop vac, to put a suction on the tank.
I put a 4 pound hammer under the fitting one one side and hit the othe side flat with my ballpeen to help shock the threads. Worth a try. Simon C
