I have a 310G with extend-a-hoe. The hydraulic line to the extend-a-hoe lift(retract) cylinder is broken and needs to be replaced. I cannot see how to get to the cylinder inside the dipper stick to remove the line or cylinder. Any suggestions? Anyone have a 310G service manual they could share?
You have to remove the extendable section to access the cylinder. Once the extendible section is off, then the cylinder can be removed from the stationary section. Acquiring the repair manual TM1886 for the machine will have the procedure for the extension and cylinder removal. Hopefully you have good lifting equipment to remove that extendable section.
