Hello I was checking to see if you guys might be able to help me with this The AC has a mind of its own some days it works for 2mins then cuts out others it works all day some days not at all The is simply no power to the unit at all It just lights up and starts on its own I have checked fuses and wiring? some times if you move a track a little / jerk machine it will start up As its an import ISJ model i have no wiring diagram any help appreciated Its Bloody hot in that cab after a while! Sounds like to me you're getting low on R-134 or the old R-12 cooling system liquid it'll do that sometimes, eventually just quitting for good until it gets re-charged ….. that's cheap to do …I don't know about down in Auz, but here we can go down to an auto parts store and buy a recharge kit c/w a gauge for under $100 after that all a guy has to do is buy the small 6oz cans for ~$6 ea. ……….. Just wondering- Are you saying the blower motor is cutting out? If you are, they do exactly as you describe.

It may be worth while to inspect the wiring or perhaps the control unit in the armrest is going bad. The main wiring harness runs under the cab, accessible from inspection panels that come off from underneath the cab. Also, the left hand armrest is not a big deal to open up and inspect the wiring. Pay attention to whether or not the control unit on the armrest is losing power, or if the blower motor is the only component going on and off. Craft - Does low freon on this machine shut down the whole AC system, or simply disengage the compressor? Sounds like KMT's whole system is shutting down.
