PAB000730. Fist of all had fire under cab probably a year ago. Burnt so ofnthe harness but not to bad. Didn’t have to replace any of the big harness that plugs in under cab and goes to valve bank and stuff. Now the aec isn’t working properly. It’ll turn on and rev up and goes to idle like it should. It won rev back up when u hit a function. Thanks can live with that. If we turn off aec and dial It up with throttle switch it will throttle up. Problem it it doesn’t have the power it should. All functions are slow. U can drive along full throttle in auto mode and it will keep lunging. It speeds up for a second and slows back down. All the time the engine isn’t loosing rpm. If u put it in bypass mode it will drive and operate at higher speeds like it should. Problem is I’m told in bypass mode it’s operating at like 80%. Any truth to this and any ideas. Don’t want to start throwing parts at it. It definitely doesn’t seem to be fuel/engine related. Seems more like a loose connection really. Or a broken wire in the harness. Just looking for ideas. You need to check for fault codes to narrow down where the problem is. I don't have a video yet explaining how to do that but if you get someone out they should know. Maybe someone here can explain the process to you.
