excavator 345B powered by 3176C engine stalls and shuts down under load specially when using bucket or stick. tested it by switching off the backup switch ,no change. then checked the following : fuel system, spools in the control valve, relief valves,power shift pressure and pump pressure. all are ok, but when the pump pressure reaches around 4700 psi engine stalls , pressure drops and then engine off. what could be the reason please? thanks
Test fuel pressure. 60psi is target. Regulator saw an update on some versions. Need machine serial to look for update.
thanks for your reply. fuel pressure in CAT ET screen 77 psi. machine serial number: CCC00405 another information: if engine is off under load some times it refuses to restart. so to start engine either you wait some minutes or lower the boom while engine is off. it seems the hydraulic is loading the engine.
