machine will travel when equipment/HYD oil is cold. After using machine the track try to move will not. Do not want to purchase rebuilt propel motors. What about using heavier weight HYD oil. Now using universal oil from farmers coop. Anyone have solution?
First guess is the center swivel seals have gone bad, get a Deere tech or other qualified hydraulic excavator tech out to run pressure tests. If the upper still digs and swings okay after the tracks stop then a few pressure tests will pinpoint the problem, track valves, relief valves, swivel joint, motors. Cheers.
Thanks lantraxo for the help. Wasn't sure where to start. This machine has so many variable things that happen at different times that it keeps me guessing as to what is wrong.
