dozerexc · 2024-12-28 22:39

looking for information on the bucket leveling on a new to me loader. on the display the bucket prox pos reads open. is there a fuse for this system? any easy ways to determine if it’s the photo eye or a wiring harness issue. thanks for the help

that took care of it. i thought i checked all the fuses but somehow missed that one. any thought on why the bucket tilt would settle sometimes? not always

Settle? Do you mean the bucket dumps a little on its own? Or does the boom drop a little?

yes the bucket dumps on its own.

Might be an intermittent circuit relief issue. Swapping the bucket's circuit relief valves is not an option for testing due to the pressure settings. Maybe a piston coming loose inside the cylinder?

i have the fuel tank out now as there was a hole in it so was getting water in fuel. now that i got that repaired i will reinstall tank and do some more testing on tilt system. gotta love getting different machines as there is always issues.

well turns out was just an intermittent problem. ran it around yard for half hour or so and tilt cylinder only settled right at start up then never did it again. thanks for all the help. now onto the transmission and fuel problems
