my 580k will swing all the way to the right, but it won't swing at all to the left. the engine labors when i push the left pedal. Help! thanks guys
The swing cushion cam follower is probably stuck. look up under the top of the swing tower and you'll see a roller bearing on an arm and a cam plate that it should ride. If that roller isn't on the plate tap it and see if it doesn't snap back over. You need to keep that arm greased.
What @mitch504 says Also, make sure the upper swing tower pin, with the cam plate attatched to it, is still held firmly in place with the locating bolt.
found it! the arm from the bolt to the cam was broke in half, it looks like it's been broken a long time. But it's been working??? go figure. thank you guys soooo much! Okrahoma
