ok so i got the output seal dripping some can i get the seal out by prying it out with just the yoke off or do ineed put that tail off too with the six bolts and do the paper gasket and do i need to drain all oil or just let it spill out during repair and top off later seal d50060/ d50058 gasket the seal got a lotta meat on it i think i could pop a hole in it and hook or peel it out without trouble just the pulling the skid plate off by myself?? and pulling the yoke off with a steering wheel puller ok? any tips ?>fellas or should i go thru the floor to do this
Drop your skid plate, uncouple the drive shaft, I would drain two quarts out of the shuttle, loosen the nut for the yoke and remove the yoke, pry out the seal. Reinstall the reverse order, pack the backside of your seal with grease, may need some blue glue under the washer on the yoke also. Top you fluid level in the shuttle. Should take around 45 min with your tools close by.
