the warning light for trans filter stay's on all the time oil changed 50-75 hrs ago both filter's changed within last month any way to test sending unit ? thanks trevor b.

I have great familiarity with the early K....one of my friend's has a later K, but he uses my manuals and they dont address the trans.... sorry!
Trevor, if you have replaced oil & filter, the fault is either wiring or a bad switch. If you pull the wire off the switch & the light goes out I would replace the switch. If it stays on, then the wiring harness is damaged somewhere & the wire is grounding out.
