Have 613c speed reducer for elevator is leaking out of breather. Put new lip seals and wear shims and pressure relief valve in and it’s still leaking when it’s running. Not sure if there’s something I’m missing. Anyone ever had anything similar?
Is the hydraulic motor seal leaking oil into the speed reducer? I.E. the leak is bad enough the case drain hose on the motor can't carry the oil back to the reservoir fast enough?
No motor is not leaking. It’s almost like it’s building pressure when hot. Won’t leak for first 10-15 minutes. Pulled the fluid level plug and felt/heard pressure release. Has new relief valve and it’s not binding or stuck. Did notice oil was very aerated and foamy so switch oils, see if that helps and possibly going to add additional breather.
Having similar issue. Did you resolve it with different oil?
