I need some trouble shooting proceedures please" My 621b was sabataged with water in the transmissiom. It was driven for 1.5hrs before it was noticed . I have changed the oil and filter twice. The problem is it will go into gear sometimes and drive then other times just won't drive.i have played with the hand brake micro switch and it would go into drive, but now will not go into drive. I need some help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just how much water are you talking about? I would be concerned about the condition of the pump - do you have the ability to check pressures at tranny? Could be coincidence - maybe handbrake switch has given up? Have you checked electrics there or has it just been a sticky switch when you "played"with it before?

Approx 3 lts of water. i can check the pressure if you can give instructions pls. Without a electrical schematic it is chashing your tail.i cannot seem to get power to the electrics on the transmission.

Have you checked fuses? There is a set of relays near fuse box ( think you may have to pull dash) - check trans cut-out. Check switches at brake pedals & declutch switch at dash. Operators manual should help with fuses & relay location.

I have checked the fuses and i rotated the relays around to see if that would make any difference and it did not help.I have checked the switches on the brake pedal and hand brake.i cannot get power to the 5 blue wires that go to the valve body solinoids at the side of the transmission. also i cannot get power from the computer box to the wires that go to the transmission. its got me stumped?? Can you suggest more testing procedures pls and i will do them.

Where abouts are you in Oz? Any load on engine at all when in gear? Is any other electrical circuit effected ? indicators, back up alarm, lights ok? The de-clutch switch on the dash has no effect? Is that switch working properly? Do you normally operate the machine with de-clutch active or not? Be sure the hand brake switch is working properly...test all switches with ohmmeter. There are hyd pressure de-clutch switches also - not sure why mechanical & hyd, they should be controlled by the de-clutch switch on dash....... I only have access to 621 info & not B (wet brakes not air) so my schematics could be a little different. come back with more info.

Just another thought here...If the brake pressure switch is bad or your brake pressure is below 900psi the transmission will go into declutch.

A common problem with the "B" series is the Trans. Solenoids. To check these properly you need a "breakout box." Now unless your a dealer, you probably will not find a breakout box to use. Remove the trans. valve cover. Its on the right side and it is held on with a single lever. In there you will see about 6 solenoids. Check with a mulitmeter and write down what each individual OHM reading is. A bad solenoid will read 1K or more OHMs. The other solenoids should be relevant to each other when they are good. Hopefully this will help you
