Hello- We are located in Southern California. We have a 1998 Fermec 650B and while operating the tractor with the Gannon in the up travel position, the rear hydraulic lift top cover cracked. Something malfunctioned and caused the top cover to crack. The Gannon was working properly before the top cover cracked. We purchased a new top cover, new cylinder, new piston, o-rings, etc. We hired a mechanic to disassemble and sent to the new hydraulic lift cover and parts to a company to install all the new parts and adjust to factory specs. We installed the new lift top cover and the Gannon would only lift about a quarter of the way up. After several attempts to adjust we still could not get it to work properly. We transported the tractor to another mechanic and they have had it a month and now claim they do not have the proper tools to adjust. At this point we believe it is just an adjustment but we can not find anyone that is capable of adjusting or has any knowledge on how to adjust. Does anyone have any experience with Fermec, Massey Ferguson, Terex rear hydraulic lifts? Does anyone know of any mechanics in Southern California? Attached is a photo of the OLD cracked top cover and new top cover installed. Thank you all in advance for any assistance.
