My 65 wont crank when you turn the key,it has 24v to the main wire at the starter,when the key is turned off the power stays on,any ideas
Check the ground cable
is the small wire from the ignition in good shape and do you get power to it when you turn the ignition on? the small wire should activate the solenoid and make it turn. the starter should always have power to it from the big cable. the little wire makes the solenoid work sending the power through the starter to turn the motor. you can turn the key to start and see if you hear it click or being very careful using a remote starter button you can jump the solenoid and see if thats your problem
