I have a 753. after trying to start it with a low battery, the hr meter now reads 5280 instead of 3080. it has the orange led display.
has anyone ever seen this before? now im wondering if it was reading wrong before and now corrected itself. now i have no clue how many hours it has. i've only put on 100 since i bought it
never seen one do that. they are fairly simple devices. Unplug it, clean the connection, plug it back in and see what happens.
would the meter be in the display or the boss computer?
generally the display is the hour meter (so the data is not contained in a computer board somewhere else). if you get behind whatever panel the meter is located in, you just unplug it and replace it if it’s defective. if you replace it, just make a note of the hours somewhere because a new hour meter starts at zero.
