Anyone had many issues with duo seals failing on 789 / 793s? If so, what did you find was causing them to fail?
There is a good thread on duocone seals. One of Nige posts refer to the surface being too smooth causing to ring to spin. The solution was to sand blast the surface.

The toric Orings were reported to have compression set. Would this be due to heat transfer from the brakes?
Again more info required. Hours to failure.? Front or rear (or both).? Who rebuilds the components.?
