when every i add hydro fluid to the tak and i remove the filler plug there is pressure on the tank.....is there a one way check some where that relieves the pressure?....where would it be if there is one?
On my 76 there is a vent in the round hole next to the fuel tank fill cover. Pretty sure that's for the hydraulic tank. Give 'er a clean, just may remedy your issue.
Some pressure is good.
On my 580SE the cap is vented to allow for fluid to return from filter
No cap on my C, only pipe plug in l/s loader frame next to reservoir sight glass. System is vented from top of r/s loader frame (also reservoir) and outlet vent valve is accessible at afore mentioned hole in top of frame. Apparently there is also an inlet vent valve on the same line but have never looked hard enough to find it. Well it looks like I have something to do today.
Upon further investigation it looks like that vent hose vents both sides. I did spy the inlet vent but see no way to access that side unless you want to pull the fuel tank , nope. While doing my investigation I did find what looked like a bird nest on top of the fuel tank and eradicated that mess with a long blow gun. Glad it wasn't a mouse nest because wouldn't want to evict anyone on Christmas eve, what would baby Jesus think of that crap?
No quarter given on mice and chipp around here. Lol See one, kill one.
On my 580K the cap on the tank says 10psi. Even after sitting for a couple days it retains pressure, remove the cap slow. Recently when I had a leak I thought the pump was going out but after fixing the leak it was normal again and think that the lack of pressure made the pump whine.
thanks for looking.....christmas or no christmas they all die around here
same here they all die
i would say when it burbs it is about 10psi
