i check the fuses f38,f39,f36 for the condenser and there is no power at the fuses, the a/c is not cooling so i am thinking maybe because the fans are not working,i would appreciate any help in the right direction
Check your wiring on your fuse blocks those machines were bad about burning contocts and wires. Also check the blower switch they are bad to burn out as well.
thank you for your reply i will check this out
I know this over a year old thread but having same issues, replaced all fuses which fixed a cranking problem, but condenser fans still not working, checked relays on bus and relay near fans, all checked good, power line coming into relay fan showed 2 volts, probably a corroded wire between bus and relay, running new wire later this week. Also fans worked for half day prior, ac worked well then. Had just replaced dryer, a low pressure valve was leaking also, replaced with 1600g of 134a, pressure was 160/45 when fans worked, fans stopped and pressed went to 300/50. Will report results after new power line installed
