im running a 9030b case excavator for a friend and i am use to cat controls is there a way to change the control patterns on that machine to cat controls
It requires switching pilot control lines at manifold behind operators cab.
Would you by chance of a diagram that shows which hoses you switch around? Thanks

Sounds like you know what the Cat excavator pattern is so when you see the valve work it will be self explanatory
Cat, Deere, being a mechanic, that stuff is all Greek to me. But I assume you are wanting to switch the arm and boom functions from left and right joysticks respectively. I've done it on a 9040B, pretty much the same thing. Not a hard thing to do, but not that easy either, and you will spill some oil. You have to switch 4 hose connections at the manifold directly behind operator cab (noted as shuttle valve), and you have to make the switch at the bottom of the manifold, if you switch hoses on top of the manifold it will mess up operation of pressure switches. Oh, and you may have to disconnect other hoses and even remove fittings to be able to get a wrench on the hose you're after. If I remember correctly, switch hoses A3 with A7, and hoses A4 with A8 Right joystick control lines Left joystick control lines
