Not sure where to look first... when I leave the loader idling with no loads for an hour the hydraulic oil overheats. also when I attempt to start the engine I need to turn the steering wheel to unload the engine so it will start. Thirdly, the bucket tilts twice as fast forward as back. And while the engine is running with no load there's some hydraulic whine like it's fighting itself.???
The hyd oil heating and steering issue are probably related. It would be nice to have a serial number. If the steering pump is staying stroked up it will heat and whine. I would suspect a problem in the main steering control valve. It could be sticking or not centering. Does it have a joystick or 2 levers for the loader control?
