Ok guys, I've been in the market for a 953c. I looked at a decent 2000 953c with 4900hrs. The only problem is the bucket won't raise fast at WOT and won't move at low idle. It was 5 gallons low on hydraulic fluid but after adding it didn't help. Also the machine doesn't seem to move as fast as others I've been on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Check the pump pressure at quick disconnect at front by hyd. tank
953c Make sure the spool valve is traveling all the way. Not exactly sure the valve arrangement, but I have seen the caps covering the centering spring on the bottom of the spools fill up with crap and prevent the spool from traveling all the way. Steve. www.pdmechanical.com
