953LGP (20Z) with 3204, engine oil leak at hyd pump weep hole.

Eng oil has been leaking some at hyd pump weep hole for some time. This week, owner says there is a wash down from the hole, and machine is using about 1 gal per day, and oil is mixing with dust and clogging lower radiator, causing overheating. It's not hydraulic oil, and former machine owner thinks a seal somewhere in the front cover is letting too much oil in the cover, and then pump gear slinging oil and causing eng oil leak at the hyd pump weep hole. Any ideas what could be causing this leak? Thanks

Maybe I don't understand the question but seems like the answer is right there. The seal on the engine oil side of the weep hole is bad. Not 100% sure of the pump as a serial number was not given but If that is the vane pump for the hydraulic then there are two seals at the "front" of the pump. One to seal engine oil in and the other to seal hydraulic oil in. The weep hole drilling is right between the two.

953LGP 3693, 1W1356. I wondered about that, looks like #8 (3G-9193) is the engine side oil seal - to install with lip/spring side to gear, and #7 (5P-0903) hyd pump side - to install with lip/spring to pump. My first response to the owner's phone call was probably needs a pump, about $500 for the whole thing new 9T1696 (new shaft, bearing, seals, cartridge, so pretty much everything). His response was no - something else is causing the problem, and is waiting for someone else to look at it first. I'll probably end up fixing it, but didn't know where the weep hole passage was drilled! Thanks for the quick and accurate response
