I'm going to be replacing all the fluids and filters on my Cat. I was reading my service manual and can't find if the transmission can be drained with the belly pan on. Can anyone tell me either way? Thanks!
Can't speak to your machine but just about all the Cat equipment I have worked on had access holes on belly pans to allow you to drain the oils. Sometimes with a small cover to remove. Also note that many Cat transmission and hydraulic tanks have a drain valve that after you remove the drain plug you then screw in a 1 inch pipe nipple to open the valve.
