There was heater kits available back in the day. These were whole goods kits, which are not available. You will have to order the parts individually. There is still installation manuals. The manuals tell you the bolt sizes and hose lengths, so you don't have to buy everything from the dealer. There a few heater options. Not sure how fancy you want on a machine that age. Is your machine a series 1 or series 2? You may want to call sims cabs, or some other cab company. They may have kits available.

I use the aftermarket ones like these all the time: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOBCAT-SKID...831653?hash=item488816a8a5:g:pA0AAOSwAYtWQRv0 http://www.ebay.com/itm/231335992806?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT http://www.ebay.com/itm/331103688995?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT Hit the hardware store and use the 3/8 steel threaded piping for plumbing off the water pump for outlet and return. Automotive store has the 5/8" inside diameter hose and band clamps. Much cheaper than factory stuff.

The machine im looking at buying is a 1999. not sure on the series of the machine other than that. can someone explain that and what the differences are between them? im currently working from a 79 hydra mac 18c. 1800 lbd rated 60 hp 26 gpm flow ( questionable) weighs in at 7600 lbs. Im sure it will be more productive. but if im getting a new(er) machine i want some comfort features ( heat mainly for snow haha) I dont wnat electric controls as this is a home machine. Im not out for super production. and i dont want to have to wory about control comps to fix ect. One thing i like about the old mac, when its broke i know why. Anyway, if someoen could advise me on the diffrent series and what upgrades were made. Id appreciate it. I started out looking for a 7800 or simular gehl/mustang. New to the new case loaders

I cant think of anything too special between the series 1 and 2 machines. They moved the hydraulic filter under the floor cover, so you cant have a foot heater in a series 2. There was also a brake change up. If I remember right it was just minor changes between them. They didn't even make a new service manual for the series 2 machines.

Does that 95XT you're looking at have an enclosed cab or are you going to buy a door? Would be good if you could also find insulation padding (dealer or aftermarket??) to keep all that steel from sucking the heat out of the cab when it gets really cold.

By the way, what's the story behind Hydramac? Where were they built at? Did they get bought by somebody else, go out of business?? When did they last produce skid loaders? What engine does your machine have? How has it been to own and operate? Just curious. Thanks,

Sorry for the way late reply to the hydra mac. The one im working on now has a ford industrial 172 engine. Thing is a tank as far as work goes and irs pretty much bullet proof. Gear drive ect. That thing will push so hard. Not much that thing wont do. But to gice it a enclosed cab will be a job for sure. Operation is easy. Im pretty sure hydra mac pioneered the t handle system. So all drive operations are the right hand. Loaders are left. Hydra mac went out of business in 2004. The biggest thing that you need to find are gears if... and a big if. One goes bad. Rest is off shelf parts. And ive found a machine shop that bought all the blue prints and make all gears. Over all i think there good machines to have especially for hobby use.
