I haven't had time to look at my 963 very hard yet but it seems like the oil in the hydrostat transmission is getting into the gearcase(behind the engine) because the gearcase is overflowing and the hydrastat keeps getting low. Is this posible??? If it is, how hard is the fix??? Thanks for any help.
It happened last year on our 235 Cat, and it was a leak inside the final drive motor. Sorry to say it set us back around 8000. for the pair.
