hey guys, new here but have been following a couple threads. have an A25C rock truck that would go into gear on the first try only, meaning when you fired it up and put it into gear it was fine (either direction) but once you shifted back to neutral and tried again there was nothing. while it was immobilized and shifted to reverse it wouldnt go into gear but the back up lights and beeper would come on. Got it into the shop and started checking some wires, found shifter to ecu plug was good, i plugged the "get you home" ecu in and seemed to fix the issue. then plugged in old ecu and was working fine with that one as well. chalked it up to a loose connection. pulled it outside and nothing. no back up lights or beeper this time. i also noticed when it was immobilized that the lcd display was showing no data for the transmission. im thinking the ecu isnt communicating with the transmission? ive read that the ignition switches arent great with these so i will check that as well. any info is appreciated. thanks
