306E2 Mini Hyd Excavator E2W03692 trying to figure out what to start with looking into this issue. The AC worked great for months, however now over last week the AC turn on - blows cold - blows full fan. but then it all shuts off/down. few moments later - but seems to be random, it will click on again. the AC will run for 3 seconds to 10 min then turn on/off again. thank you.

Sounds like a breaker is being tripped and it’s resetting itself. Need to check wiring.

The whole system shuts down? Blower Fan, a/c cutch?

And every time it comes back on it works good/blows cold? Does it have some kind of auto climate control setting?

Sounds like your condenser is freezing up.

if it was the breaker, where do i start with wires for that- under the seat? the whole system does shut down - like no fan and no AC. then it restarts. i thought i could have heard a relay at one time ticking on and then ticking off. every time it blows - yes good cold air. There isnt any auto-climate setting from any of the controls that i can see. if the condensor was freezing up id think it would run a bit. this 'symptom' starts from a cold start - or can condensor freeze up in a few minutes? thanks for all the help, i just dunno what to start tearing into.

If the blower shuts off it is a control or control wiring issue. It isn't the compressor/condenser/evaporator. It may help to see if the compressor clutch is engaged when the blower shuts off.

An electrical schematic is what you need. Check your message inbox.

I've never seen a condenser freeze up. Evaporator, yes. It wil not kill fan if frozen. Suction line would ice over as well back to comprssor. Easy visual check for this. I think your problem is electrical also.
