What is a reason that this label would be used? Does it indicate an engine rebuild - or, is there something else that would make or cause this label to be applied and the meter reset?
When a hr meter, a repower or ecm has been changed.
Cat must have had an issue with hour meters at one time, and had a tsb campagn to change hour meters, my skidsteer has one because the hour meter was changed at 150 hours.
I'm on meter #8 on my 248B. Get a sticker like that to indicate hours on broken meter. Add the old and new for current hours.
