Are they new to adts? The articulated dump trucks back up quite different than highway trucks and it takes some getting use to. In rainy weather its 10 times harder to back up one of those rigs or if the mirrors are broken/missing. If after 100 hours they still can not figure it out, explain to them what you want. After that i would have to say you might need to find some different drivers.

rattle the skip! If their driving, must have a cpcs ticket? If they can't get under after a couple of goes, not your problem, hang the bucket out,let them struggle,'rattle the skip' when they do get under, explain to the boss why its taking so long!

We have Bell and Volvo and they cant drive either it took 1 guy nearly 10 minutes to back up to me,by which time i had steam coming out my ears makes a long day even longer...It makes me wonder how these people get a cpcs ticket

Aha, shame, well the Bell's are built for Africa and our, lets say 'rough 'n tough' operators, I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be to learn to drive one... I assume those would still be the manuals though? Are they B30Ds or what?
