hi i have a akerman h10 used for cutting scrap with a shear, after working the machine for a while or changing the attachment, the machine will not slew, the boom will drop instantly when the lever is let back to neutral. but the dipper, attachment and track work fine.some times if it left over night it will work fine again. the only other time this happens is when a hydraulic pipe bursts on the attachment. any help advice would be highly appriceated
Good day B171ing The H10 has one circuit and pump which give priority to the slew (P1) its the smaller of the three pumps, the smaller valve chest in the centre of the machine supplies and controls the slew. We suspect that you may have a contamination issue with the control levers this will cause bad control as well as sticking valves.Take an oil sample and get it tested for contamination, pull the filter cartridges have new ready bust the top off and spread the cardboard insert if you can see sparkle this is most probably your trouble. If you need more help come back to me at [email protected] Kind regards Uffex
Thanks Good day uffex, I have been using the excavator this morning not sure if I was right with h10 but it does say ec250b on the side. Using it this morning and when the dead man is placed on and off the slew is working. But now we have noticed the l/hand cross track lever is not working, when in auto idle the r/hand works and highers the engine rpm but the lever moved to the left will not higher the rpm or work the cross track. I will remove the filters and check for debris. Thank you
Good day B171ing May be its best to be sure which model we are trying to trouble shoot, an H10 has three pumps installation on the gearbox at the flywheel end weight about 24 tonnes. The H25B has five hydraulic pumps and a Volvo 12Lt engine weight about 60 tonnes. Your latest information relates to servo pressure this should be 60 bars and not drop more than 10 bars at low revs. If you can confirm which model we can be more helpful as to the procedure. KR Uffex
Sorry about the confusion, iv upload two pictures I am sure the machine is aKerman ec250b, this is printed on the side, KR bl71ing
Good day B171ing Ok what you have is a H10 could be a H10B ( Volvo version EC210) the decal is not a standard fitment. Open this door as we look at it top left there should be a pressure test point for the servo pressure, lets stick a gauge on it - we should see 60/65 bars with fluid at 50 degrees C and check it again with engine tick over. Come back with the result and we will try to walk you through the fix. KR Uffex
Thank you very much will put the gauges on probably Friday now. I know the block you mean, a can feel a servo line tense up when the cross track lever is pushed to the right and track work. But no lines tensing when moved to the left . Will inform you of the results when complete again thank you very much KR Bl71ing
